Paul Compton Scholarship

Paul Compton Scholarship

The Paul Compton Scholarship was established in 2020 by Paul Compton under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative and maintained by income generated from the endowment fund. The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support postgraduate coursework students of the School of Business experiencing financial need by making a contribution towards tuition costs.

The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of applicants showing greatest merit as demonstrated by financial need and evidence of personal qualities including leadership potential. New and continuing students are eligible to apply.

The Paul Compton Scholarship is open to full-time students who intend to enrol or are enrolled in an approved postgraduate coursework program in the Business School. Students must be able to provide documentary evidence of financial need, and have a minimum of 16 units to complete (at closing date) in their approved program. One scholarship may be awarded each year on recommendation from the Dean.

Paul Compton wishes to review the final short list of candidates but acknowledges that the decision rests with the Dean and the Selection Committee. Please review the Privacy Management Policy for further information.

One scholarship may be awarded each year. The value of the Scholarship will be at least $6,500 but will not exceed the annual income from the fund and will be payable towards the cost of tuition fees of the Approved Program.

For more information on eligibility requirements, please review the Paul Compton Scholarship Rules. Applications will close at 11:59pm on Sunday 31 January 2021. No late applications will be accepted.
