Frank Finn Scholarship - 2021

Frank Finn Scholarship - 2021

The Frank Finn Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 2008 from the generous donations of the UQ Community to acknowledge the contribution of Professor Frank Finn's lifetime of service to the University and the field of finance. Professor Finn held several positions within the University including: Dean of the Faculty Commerce and Economics; Head of the School of Commerce and; the Director of Studies, the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

Applications for The Frank Finn Scholarship are open to domestic students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (including Bachelor of Commerce dual degree students) or Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) full-time. Bachelor of Commerce (including dual degree) students must have completed a minimum of 16 units in their program already (be second year or higher).

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of applicants showing the greatest merit as demonstrated by financial disadvantage; academic achievement; and any other matter which the selection committee considers relevant to the applicant's future success in a commerce profession. The School may decide to interview short-listed applicants.

The number and value of the Frank Finn Scholarships available each year will be determined annually, but will not exceed the value of the annual distribution of the endowment.

For more information on eligibility requirements, please review the Frank Finn Scholarship Rules. Applications will close at 11:59pm on Sunday 31 January 2021. No late applications will be accepted.
